Gunby Hall National Trust

Gunby Hall is a homely country house built in 1700 for the Massingberd family, who lived here for more than 250 years.

Eight acres of Victorian walled gardens with a kitchen garden, wildflower areas and wonderful borders bursting with colourful plants and flowers that change throughout the seasons.

Market Towns

With an abundance of local market towns you’re not far away from shops, pubs and restaurants.

Alford is a 15 minute drive towards the Wolds, Louth is a bit further on into the Wolds. Burgh le Marsh is a 5 minute drive with some great pubs and restaurants.

Horncastle is also a lovely market town on the main route towards the historical city of Lincoln.

Skegness and ingoldmells

The perfect day out for the family at the seaside! Enjoy a day at the beach, building sandcastles, riding donkeys and finishing it off with fish & chips.

Arcades, shops and amusements galore in both of these coastal towns, accessible by bus or a 15 minute drive.

Donna Nook

A haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers alike. Renowned for its grey seal colony, this coastal gem offers a unique experience. 

During the winter months, Donna Nook becomes a sanctuary for thousands of grey seals that gather here to give birth and raise their adorable pups.

Country Walks

With the Lincolnshire Wolds on the doorstop there are so many beautiful country walks to get out and explore.

There are walks for all abilities and cater to families, couples, solo walkers or seasoned hikers.

Stretch your legs and make the most of unspoilt countryside with fresh air, there are walks for everyone.

Aviation History

Lincolnshire has a rich aviation history with many active and inactive RAF bases locally.

Woodhall Spa is a 40 minute drive, visit the home of the Dambusters. Nearby is the active RAF Coningsby where you can watch Typhoons taking off at high speed.

International Bomber Command Centre located near Lincoln is a place for remembrance of Bomber Command in WW2.
